
OWR certifies that calligrapher Go HA YOUN (pen name:Pungheon) has established a new Official World Record for the World’s Largest Number of Calligraphy Works on a Folding Screen:

Between 1994 and May 30, 2014, calligrapher Go HA YOUN (pen name: Pungheon), has completed a calligraphy work consisting of 900 pok of jeonseo, a kind of ancient Chinese calligraphy style, 1,698 pok of yeseo, 258 pok of haeseo, 6,411 pok of haengseo, 2,238 pok of choseo, and 204-pok of hangeul. The piece measures 16,275.51 meters, with a total of 11,709 pok and 1,335 jil (set). 1 pok: a page of traditional Korean paper measuring 35 cm (width) and 138 cm (height length)

This folding screen is comprised of exquisite pieces of oriental calligraphy. What is amazing about this piece is that 11,709 screens were written by a single person.
