Highest number of jumps performed on the Mini-Trampoline

Gym Club Montalieu was born in 1991, created by Jean-Yves MANDRILLON, doctor from Montalieu with a handful of volunteers.
Following the values of the French Sports and Cultural Federation (FSCF) which are Openness, Respect, Autonomy, Solidarity, and Responsibility, the philosophy of Gym Club Montalieu, affiliated with this Federation, is to allow access to the greatest number and welcome the most disadvantaged groups.

In 2017, under the presidency of Jacques BOURSE, the Gym Club Montalieu organized the National Women’s Gymnastics Team Championship F2/F3, bringing together more than 3,000 gymnasts from all over France in one day.

Every year, Gym Club Montalieu gymnasts support noble causes, such as breast cancer or Telethon. Thus, in October, they organized a Walk and Run, whose registration fees were entirely donated to “Courier pour Elles”, an Association that fights against Female Cancer and in particular Breast Cancer, and they also participate in the Telethon in the municipalities where they live. request attendance.
In 2020, during the Porcieu-Amblagnieu Teleton, they wanted to challenge themselves and perform the greatest number of jumps on an indoor Mini-Trampoline during 8 hours, having performed 2,472 Jumps, not only through the Club’s Gymnasts but also by the public present who also wanted to contribute.

On December 9, 2023, they set out to beat this record by performing a minimum of 2,473 jumps on the Mini-Trampoline, this time outdoors (any type of jump). The adventure started at 9:00 am and lasted until 5:00 pm, thus also inviting the public to join the gym in this adventure, where for every jump made, €1 was donated to the Telethon.

At the event in question, 18 athletes from the gym were present and in the space of 8 hours they managed to surpass the mark they initially set themselves, having achieved an impressive 2,534 mini-trampoline jumps.
Congratulations to the athletes and managers of Gym Club Montalieu for the work carried out and the initiatives they propose to take to help disadvantaged people, as well as those with serious illnesses.
