Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created on Christmas eve a 45 feet high Santa Claus, assisted by 20 students. He is a professor at Sudarsan Sand Art Institute of Puri. The Santa Claus statue has a message: “World Peace”. The world’s tales Santa was made using more than 1000 tonnes of sand, some coloured.
